As a Licensed Acupuncturist I see our innate inner wisdom through the metaphoric lens of Classical Asian Medicine. This fundamentally guides my practice both in the understanding and the application of Classical Acupuncture and Functional Physiology. The application of Acupuncture Principles and techniques to CranioSacral Therapy (UMAC), Total Body Modification (TBM), and Functional Nutritional tools bridge the gap between injury and trauma to recovery and wellness.

I specialize in Master Tung's Advanced Acupuncture. Master Tung’s is one of the very few remaining Classical Family Styles of acupuncture. Their distinctive understanding and application of energetic therapeutics, that many “post Cultural Revolution” acupuncture style only minimally touch on address the whole energetic body while vastly reducing quantity of needles needed during a treatment. The beauty of what the Tung family has carried forward for over 700 years is simply, amazing. While this is my chosen lens to address illness, health, and growth I do also blend and combine the functional practices of UMAC and TBM as part of injury and trauma treatment and as comprehensive preventive wellness package. For those patients who wish to continue care and/or are in search of a system that allows them to enhance their personal awareness and actively address functional health and wellness these systems can give you the tools to reach your health goals. At either of Radiant Acupuncture's locations you will find a welcoming, safe, and compassionate environment for the whole family—child, teen, adult, and elder alike.

I believe that all people are entitled to pursue and receive care regardless of financial background. The growing gap between fees and private specialized care has strengthened my belief in affordable, inclusive complementary health care. In the spirit of Master Tung and the Doaist traditions of Chinese Medicine I believe that change starts with me and has lead to a blending of ideals that I feel can work for my family and yours.

My mission is to help facilitate your personal goal and to invigorate your mind, body, and spirit to find your path to health and balance. I feel that by first clearing the path to health through the connection of the mind and body we open the pathway for broader understanding and healing ourselves and our world-wide community.

Acupuncture: Master Tung's Classical Acupuncture

The history of Eastern Medicine and acupuncture can be traced back thousands of years in China. For most of Eastern Medicine's history, the many different branches of care and treatment were separated by families into their specific families’ style.
